BEC-Tero bringing interactive “teamLab Islands: Dance! Art Museum, Learn & Play! Interactive Theme Park” futuristic exhibition to Thailand from 1 May
Singha Drinking Water, Scotch Kitz, and BEC-Tero Entertainment are proud to announce that the futuristic Japanese interactive digital exhibition and interactive theme park “teamLab Islands: Dance! Art Museum, Learn & Play! Interactive Theme Park” is coming to Thailand for the first time ever.
With its mind-blowingly innovative creations, teamLab Islands creates a unique digital universe where visitors can learn and play with a spectacular combination of art, science, and technology. The teamLab installations stimulate children’s, and adults’, creativity through interactive play. teamLab Islands opens on 1 May and runs until 31 July 2016 at THE SPACE, 3rd floor, CentralWorld.
teamLab Islands is the result of some amazing “out-of-the-box” thinking by a group of Japanese technology, engineering, architecture and graphic design experts. These experts combined their ideas to create spectacular digital installations that combine the latest in art, science, and technology. The result is a learning exhibition in the form of the world’s first interactive theme park which has received an overwhelming response from the public.
This interactive theme park will be a wonderfully innovative experience for Thais of all ages: young children, teenagers, adults and the elderly, as it serves as a giant laboratory where everyone can learn and play at the same time. Everyone gets the chance to bring their imagination to life and appreciate the beauty of art in the teamLab’s two main zones.
The first zone is Dance! Art Museum. Here, artworks and projections come to life in five digital installations, playing with visitors’ perceptions and their senses of sight, touch and sound. Prepare to be amazed by ‘Flowers and People’ an installation where one year’s worth of seasonal flowers changes continually over the course of an hour, affected in real-time by how close visitors are to the work; experience “ultra subjective space” in the virtual 3-D of ‘Nirvana’, and much more!
The second zone is the Learn & Play Interactive Theme Park. The zone is a massive art project with eight dazzling installations that stimulate the imagination and will have both young and old enraptured. Highlights include the Sketch Aquarium where visitors’ drawings of sea creatures get magically projected onto a giant virtual aquarium, where they can be fed and moved around by their creators; the Light Ball Orchestra where huge balls ‘communicate’ with one another changing colour and making music depending on how they are touched by visitors; and Create! Hopscotch for Geniuses where participants can recreate and personalise their favourite childhood game in a way you could not have imagined.
The interactive teamLab Islands theme park is a place for children and families to participate in a host of exciting activities together and be amazed, enthralled and inspired by a futuristic world of digital adventures unlike anything they have experienced before.
Get ready to experience this wonderful all-new world where art, science, technology, play, and learning are seamlessly blended together at teamLab Islands from 1 May - 31 July 2016 at THE SPACE, 3rd floor, CentralWorld.
