Electric Power Engine
In this week’s episode of “Brainchild”, Apisara “Dao” Kerdchuchuen and Wichai “Ek” Chongprasitphon introduce the electric power conversion engine for turning local vehicles into electric vehicles for travel and transport purposes. The engine was invented by the Department of Automotive Business Engineering for their public service class under the Faculty of Engineering of the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce. “Brainchild” judges Bhanudej “Duke” Vatanasuchart, Dr. Chit Laowattana, and Samaporn “Puk” Rungsrikulpipat challenged the inventors to upgrade the engine’s power by 10 horsepower and to make it more fuel-efficient. Stay tuned to find out whether the upgraded version will win the hearts of the judges.
In the “Perd Lok Idea” (Exploring Ideas) section, “Brainchild” reporter, Manita Farmer, takes the audience to chill out at the Metro Forest Project or Pa Nai Krung project. Petroleum giant PTT is the force behind this project, aiming to restore wasteland and to regenerate green spaces with a fertile eco-system. The project also serves as a learning centre for sustainable conservation. Visitors who get the chance to watch a film called The Eternal Bond between Humans, Forests, and Cities at the exhibition might go home inspired to take better care of our environment.
This episode of “Brainchild” will be aired on Saturday 25 May 2019 at 9am on Channel 28.
