Taiwan’s no.1 rock band Mayday rock Singapore and announce first-ever Thai concert for 6 October

Hugely popular Taiwanese rock band Mayday are currently working their way through Asia as part of their Life Tour, having just completed a massive show before 40,000 fans at Singapore National Stadium at the weekend, and have now announced their first-ever concert in Thailand to be held on Saturday 6 October.
 
Mayday are Taiwan’s no.1 rock band and have been dubbed the “Kings of the Rock Concert” by Asian media and “one of the world's best-selling bands” by Billboard magazine. The Washington Post called them “The Chinese Beatles”. Mayday comprises vocalist Ashin, guitarists Stone and Monster, bassist Masa, and drummer Ming. Formed in the late 1990s, the legendary band have a huge fan base around the world and have performed live before millions. They have performed at many of the world’s most iconic venues, including Madison Square Garden, Barclays Center, The O2, Wembley Arena, Nippon Budokan Tokyo, Beijing Bird’s Nest, and Singapore National Stadium. 
 
Mayday’s Singapore performance on 2 June was a night to remember for over 40,000 fans who were wowed by the band’s spectacular production, which included lasers, effects, stunning graphics on gigantic LED screens, and the audience’s light sticks that changed colour with the music. The impressive sound system also ensured that every single member of the audience was able to fully enjoy the three-hour show which consisted of 26 of the band’s favourite songs.  

 


Mayday’s global Life Tour will be completed later this year with a total of 106 shows in 53 cities around the world with more than 3.75 million fans expected to attend.
